"Absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND. Easily manipulated by my narcissistic ex – Meredith was more interested in the money. She didn't care about my children at all, didn't listen to their pleas for help. I've spent years on therapy for my children to try and support them all because of her terrible decisions. She is the absolute worst GAL. She should lose her license. DO NOT TRUST OR HIRE HER."

"Meredith is incompetent, and a terrible GAL. She does not care about what is 'best' for children. Even after mine were brave enough to tell her they were being abused, she chose to ignore it. Proof was presented to her of abuse, neglect, manipulation, attempts at parental alienation… for 8 long years. Both suffered from thoughts of suicidal ideation after years of abuse, then dragged through court for most of their lives, trauma. It didn't end until he gave up, after reported multiple times to CPS, by therapists… and my children refusing to see him, or [have any contact]."

"I had a case that was very clear cut. Instead this GAL made it incredibly complex along with the lawyers involved. This was all about money and stretching out a case for all involved to continue to collect. After 2 years of court she recommended a parent coordinator that charges $250/hr. Between the coordinator and her, my civil case during this time has cost me over $45k. She makes you feel like she is your friend but ultimately will burn you and say nasty untrue things in court to help the other side. In the end she is a business owner out for more money. Her ethics are nonexistent."

"Meredith was a Guardian Ad Litem (GAL) on a case involving my daughter. I will preface this by saying in my daughter's life (she is an early teen) I have always been her primary caregiver. The GAL didn't see it that way. It was actually terrible what she did to my daughter. My daughter was so upset about the report Meredith prepared for the court. She lied about so many things. She didn't even care what my daughter wanted. She is the absolute worst GAL. She should lose her license. DO NOT TRUST OR HIRE HER."

"Was used for my divorce case and was the most kind hearted trustworthy person I've ever met. She genuinely had my best interest at heart and handled the case with care. Without a doubt would use her if needed in the future."

"Meredith Snyder was appointed GAL for my child custody case. She made recommendations without ever visiting my home or observing my interactions with my children. When I provided documented evidence of my ex's neglect, she dismissed it as 'parental conflict.' Her report to the court contained several factual errors, but when I tried to address them, she refused to correct her report. I was told by my attorney that she has close relationships with several family law attorneys in the area which creates a conflict of interest. The outcome of my case was devastating for my children."

"I was shocked by Ms. Snyder's conduct during my custody case. She spent less than 20 minutes with my children before making life-altering recommendations. When my children tried to tell her about problems at their mother's house, she cut them off and changed the subject. Later, I found out she had previously worked cases with my ex's attorney multiple times. Her recommendations exactly matched what my ex requested, despite evidence showing I had been the more involved parent. The judge followed her recommendations without question, and now I only see my children every other weekend."

"As someone who has worked in the Franklin County family court system for over 15 years, I've witnessed Ms. Snyder's problematic patterns firsthand. She frequently makes recommendations that favor whichever parent has the more expensive attorney. She has been observed having lunch with certain attorneys before making recommendations that favor their clients. This type of behavior undermines public trust in the GAL system and hurts children. Courts should implement better oversight of GALs to prevent these conflicts of interest."
